Stranded Part 2

It Got Darker and Darker. I was freezing cold and yet although Aunt Anne had a blanket in the boot she said there is no time for messing about and that we need to find a way to get the car to a petrol station.
She tried phoning mum but she had no signal. We really were stranded.I Must have fall asleep because when i woke up it was light. The only problem was Aunt Anne wasn't there. I got out the car and looked around but yet still she was nowhere to be seen. I never usually get worried but this time i was, wouldn't you be if you where stuck in France somewhere on your own at the age of 12. I hate Aunt Anne and never want her but this time it was different i really needed her. I sat in the car for about half an hour, i was starving and cold. I Decided to go and look for Aunt Anne. I saw that i would have a long walk so looked for something to eat and to keep me warm. I Found a granny cardigan under the back seat and found some mints in the glove compartment and then i set off. I didn't lock the car because otherwise i wouldn't be able to get back in if i wanted too. I was walking for about 2 hours when i saw a french sign saying 'mare aux canards à gauche' (Duck pond on the left) I have always been good at french. I decided to follow the signs to the duck pond in hope there would be people there but when i got to the duck pond it was empty and all frozen up. I decided to head back after another 4 hours of walking, so i just walked back the way i came. It was getting dark again, so i started running, i ran for 15 minuets until i got to the duck pond. I knew that because it was nearly pitch black i should just sleep on the bench at the duck pond. I Lay down on the damp wooden bench and started to cry. I woke up again when it was just about getting light. I Could here my name being called. I Felt shock of relive down my spine, and jumped up as quick as anything. I ran out and shouted that i was here. As i got closer to the voice i realised who it was. It was Mum.
